Matthew and his Feelings

I sent emails to City Hall councillors, asking that they keep Transit City. I got a number of replies with no real position in them. Not so my new Councillor!

Good afternoon Matthew,

 

Thank you for taking the time to write to me; it’s important to me to hear from you.  Transit City was an essential part of my platform and Ward 13 residents voiced their strong support for it during the campaign, at their front doors, at community events and debates, and in conversation with me in their neighbourhoods.  At such time as an alternative proposal comes from the Mayor’s office or the TTC, I will review it with Ward 13 residents’ concerns and needs in mind.  As it is, I continue to support the Transit City plan currently being implemented.  Thank you again for being in touch with me.
