Village&Co. x Welcome to Eastvan

It probably comes as no surprise that our roots and heart are in East Van. As a location, the diversity of the neighbourhood has provided us with constant inspiration. We have lunch at Falconetti’s Patio on The Drive. We shop at the fantastic Vancouver Special on Main Street. And around the corner, we get our cultural fix at The Cultch. Having local establishments like these are what make East Van unique. Drawing upon this inspiration definitely influenced our latest project, as you might have guessed from this photo.

It’s hard to walk around Vancouver without spotting a Welcome to Eastvan t-shirt. Naturally, there have been some copies and parodies, and while they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, we feel it’s best to respect the originators. The idea behind creating a collaborative t-shirt is one that we’ve considered for quite some time and wanted to partner with a brand we admire. We had a fantastic experience working with this local shop… so keep your eyes open for future collaborations.
