A great example of thinking ahead of the immediate opportunity, and some longer-term strategic vision. Sure, James could have created a traditional “loyalty card” that rewarded his customers for recency or frequency of visits, or even monetary value, but realizing that cards (and loyalty) are a dime-per-dozen James did something different (and awesome).
